About the Journal

The Journal of Social Science and Multidisciplinary Enquiry (JSSME) [E-ISSN: 3106-3462] is a tri-annually published international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by Noesis Publishing. Our mission is to advance high-quality scholarship across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Education, and Business, while fostering a culture of interdisciplinary research and intellectual exchange.

Founded in 2025, JSSME was created to provide a scholarly platform that bridges disciplinary boundaries, encourages collaborative research, and promotes studies with meaningful societal impact.

Open Access Policy

JSSME operates under a Gold Open Access model, meaning that all articles are freely accessible online immediately upon publication. We believe that removing financial and technical barriers to scholarly work enhances the global dissemination of knowledge, supports lifelong learning, and facilitates research collaboration across countries and institutions.

Readers are encouraged to download, share, and cite published works, provided that proper attribution is given. There are no subscription fees or paywalls for accessing our content.

Copyright and Licensing

All authors publishing with JSSME retain full copyright of their work. By submitting an article, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the work under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).

Under this license:

  1. Others may copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial use.
  2. Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s), a link to the license must be provided, and any changes must be indicated.
  3. This policy ensures maximum visibility and reusability of scholarly content while safeguarding authors’ moral rights.

Peer Review and Editorial Process

To maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, JSSME employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening: The editorial team evaluates each submission for scope, originality, and adherence to the journal’s formatting and ethical guidelines.
  2. Double-Blind Review: Manuscripts are anonymized and sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
  3. Review Timeline:
    • Editorial decision on initial suitability: typically within 2–3 days.
    • Peer review process: generally completed within 30 working days depending on the reviewer's response.
  4. Decision Outcomes: Accepted, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Rejection. Authors are provided with constructive feedback to improve their work.
  5. Final Approval: The Editor-in-Chief ensures that all revisions meet academic and ethical standards before publication.

Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

JSSME is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published works. To this end, we participate in:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS initiatives, which preserve content in distributed library archives worldwide.
  • Our own institutional repository for redundant backup and disaster recovery.

This ensures that all articles remain secure, discoverable, and permanently available even in the event of technical or institutional changes.
